MY STORY

Idaho had a very bad fire year, but when I headed over bow hunting it started to rain, and continued to rain for three days.

On my way back for a rifle hunt ran into a bad snow storm and had to stop and spend the night at Lolo Hot Springs. Ah shucks. After my bowhunt the deer had a bad bluetongue die off so I had to goto a different area for my rifle hunt. On the last hour of my hunt I shot a doe so I had some meat to bring home.

During my bowhunt I met Bearclaw. A true modern day mountain man who lives off the grid and only wears buckskin clothes he makes. Bearclaw was kind enough to show me some areas to hunt. Bearclaw was a featured in the National Geographic show The Boonies which featured modern day people living off the grid.

Here is little video of  spike i had at about 20 yards. At the time didn’t want to use my tag on a little buck.
